Costa Rica
Missionaries began a new work in this beautiful nation in 1982 while waiting to re-enter another Central American country. A congregation was established in the strategic Central Plateau, where approximately 75% of Costa Rica's population and four of its seven provincial capital cities are located. The church is currently shepherded by an EFM Guatemalan pastor, in an international collaboration made possible by the union of EFM and Friends of Missions in January, 2001.
Our church in Los Llanos de Santa Lucía, El Paraíso, Cartago, Costa Rica. It was built when this area was first settled in the 1980's and now needs to be replaced.
