Dominican Republic
Missionaries entered Santo Domingo, the capital city, a few days before Christmas, 1981. They founded a church on the western side of the city, and later began outreaches into the countryside. Three churches, plus preaching points, now grace the southern edge of the Dominican Republic and a small Bible Institute has been started for training workers. In 1996 the Dominican church became involved in a cooperative missionary venture in Cuba, where they have been promoting biblical holiness.
Pictured below is our church in La Esperanza. We refer to it as K-32 because the village is located on Kilometer 32 of the highway that leads northward out of Santo Domingo, the capital city.
