Matching Fund progress: As of yesterday, June 23, the total that had been given for the matching fund challenge had reached the $70,000 mark! Thus we are only $30,000 away from our goal with over a month to go. Please help us pray that we will go over the top.
Leroy & Myrtle Adamses' 50th Anniversary: With pastor Michael Hobbs
(brother-in-law to Leroy) officiating, Leroy and Myrtle Adams renew their vows upon the occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
SIMO A Good Success: The Summer Institute for Missionary Orientation finished its eighth year with a nice class of six participants during the first week, joined by an alumni couple for the second week. Covering topics such as culture shock, cross-cultural communications, animism, and suggestions for public relations, the sessions were aimed at preparing the attendees to be able to do a better job on the mission field and to be equipped to withstand the many pressures that will come their way.
