James and Rachel Rickenbach
Born James:
February 21, 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico
  Rachel:
April 7, 1980 in Lafayette, Indiana
Saved James:
I was initially saved at ten years of age and really settled spiritually when I was thirteen. The Holy Spirit received full access to my life about the time I was fifteen. By His grace, God has enabled me to walk with Him for nearly seventeen years.
  Rachel:
I was saved at the tender age of five. God sanctified me when I was seventeen at a GBS camp meeting.
Calling James:
I received a clear call to missions at the age of ten. I was moved to seek God for a definite confirmation concerning the call to preach when I was seventeen, at which time God laid the firm conviction on my soul that He was indeed calling me to the ministry as well. Since then God has placed a developing vision in my heart to see a “Latins to Arabs ministry” produced from a national perspective in Central America, with the primary inroad being established through an emphasis on preparation in elementary education.
  Rachel:
The same year I was five, I remember telling my mother during a youth camp that God wanted me to be a missionary. It was during my last year of high school that a dear friend and mentor counseled me that I should pursue education as my focus in college. From there God continued to lead me into elementary education as the clear calling for my life.
