Current needs at Evangelistic Faith Missions

Bolivia
The Elmer Sanchez family is laboring with the churches and the Bible institute. Please pray for this dedicated family. Also please continue to pray for their youngest child who is still undergoing treatment for a congenital foot deformity. The doctors report that he is doing well and we thank the Lord for that.
The mission house in La Paz needs some major repairs and this will require funding.
Pray especially for an ingathering of souls in the Villa Adela area.
Costa Rica
The church in Barrio Mexico is going through a time of transition because of government regulations. Pray that God will guide throughout the process.
Lorena is showing signs of wanting to come back to God after having backslidden for a number of years. Pray the Spirit will continue to draw her.
Rex and Missy McDowell are asking God for wisdom as they make the transition from language study to full-time ministry.
Cuba
David and Marilyn Middleton desire guidance as they make plans for another trip into Cuba in the coming months.
Dominican Republic
Manuel and Josie have started attending the Kilometer 32 church. Pray that this couple will take the way of holiness.
A witch-doctor's grandson was in an accident recently. He needs healing and salvation.
Egypt
Saied Ibrahim, national director, is in Germany for a month of physical treatment.
Pray for young pastors who are endeavoring to establish churches in new areas.
Eritrea / Sudan
The believers in Eritrea face constant pressure from the government and continued economic difficulties. It has now been eight years since the churches were closed in Eritrea and recent reports indicate the persecution is worsening.
Sudan - new believers have been baptized and recent services were a great success. Please pray for the furtherance of the gospel in this Moslem area.
Ethiopia
Pray for the idigenous church and church leaders who continue the work without a missionary leader.
Guatemala
Lee Rickenbach will be visiting Guatemala, Honduras, and Costa Rica in May. He is leaving on May 18, 2010. He will also be teaching some classes.
The Bible institute and the bilingual academy have started a new school year. God's help is desired by the staff and students. Two teachers are still needed for the academy.
Honduras
God's help is needed in regards to the new works in Honduras.
Difficulties have been encountered with the remodeling of the girl's dorm in San Luis. The project continues to move forward and there have even been donations on the field for this project. Please pray for Daniel Melton as he sees this project to its completion.
Daniel Melton was involved in a motor vehicle accident. No one was seriously injured. He was not at fault and the initial police report placed the blame on the other driver. However, bribes have been paid and reports are disappearing and threats are being made against Daniel Melton.
Planning has started for the fall medical team trip. Please pray that the Lord will work out every detail.
Korea
Jooil, the son of Pastor Sung Kyun Choi, had been an opera singer in Germany for several years. He and his family have returned to South Korea where Jooil is studying for the ministry. Please pray for him and his family.
USA Hispanic Ministries
The Guatemalan believers and leaders in Trenton, NJ and Stamford, CT, desire that their people be Spirit-filled witnesses to their world.
The Trenton congregation has established a goal with the purpose of purchasing a church building and they desire God's help in reaching that goal.
Home Office
EFM continues to seek individuals who will serve as missionaries.
Pray that the new Matching Fund Goal will be met.
Donald G. Smith Jr., M.D. has been serving as the interim Vice President. Please pray that a permanent and full time Vice President will be found.
